For this event, Lux Antonia wanted to share all of her favorite things and with all her favorite people. Your presence is desired and very much appreciated. Thank you so much for helping to unlock these next years.

Wonderland is known for its remarkable drinks that blend fantasy and reality; the bar also offers an Asian fusion inspired menu for personal purchase if desired; the kitchen closes at midnight. Complimentary individual cakes provided by Scary Good Desserts for the cake ceremony, which the inimitable witch queen Melissa Jayne Madara will preside over.

During the evening, LEXXE, the disco witch herself, will grace the bar to give a private performance. DJ Kamikaze Tomato will master the dancefloor with favorites from emo, pop-punk, and goth club genres. Cierra Martin is the typewriter poet, crafting personalized moments out of ether to take home in back pockets. And there will be games… of course there will be games.

A friend shared that, if needed, there is currently a deal for $118/night at Hampton Inn in Chelsea, which is a 10m taxi away.

DRESS CODE GUIDELINES

black as a funeral, black as a coven, black as a parade

THE DETAILS:
Dress code baseline is the color black, for ease. From there, add some Wonderland whimsy by selecting a House below. Each House aesthetic inspiration is based on one of my project personas. Stray from black only if that’s needed to explore and elaborate. If theatrical attire isn’t your style, a simple House-inspired accessory (hat, necklace, etc) along with basic black will definitely do.

  • ARCANA: House of Spades6 of 15 available
“I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.”
Sheer veils and viking furs, wooden staffs and golden tears, brass chains and glass beads, the ghost of a rosary, rings to halo every finger. Flame so hot it burns like a freezer. Crystal coded memory, a labyrinth for secrets. True seeing comes from being left in darkness, rediscovering the way home. Knowing no matter how dark it gets, a light always survives.

(Only for inspo; think viking, witchy, gothic… tie in some crystals, sigils, or chains.)

  • LACUNA: House of Hearts4 of 15 available
“You know heroes get remembered, but legends never die.”
Graphic tees and neon lights, fishnets and studded belts, ripped jeans and side parts, long live the car crash hearts. Garage band gutter glimmer desires. Scene queen screams, some panic and all disco. Drowning dead devotion at the bottom of a bourbon shot. Nostalgia kept in broken mirrors. Summer nights that still live on. The higher the heels the closer to god.

(Only for inspo; think scene, emo, pop-punk, skater… or night club dirty pop.)

  • AETERNA: House of Diamonds0 of 15 available
“I swear I’d burn this city down to show you the light.”
Honey and chandeliers, glitter and glamour, elegant and dapper, violently delightful. A monster in sheep’s clothing. Low whispers in a dark room. Knowing a smile still bares teeth. The satin of a sigh, the soft of a switchblade, the ethereal trails of ichor. Kisses like a signature, the loans offered never payable. All the fineries and all their bloody costs.

(Only for inspo; think luxury, glam, prohibition… and add fake blood where called.)

  • LUMINA: House of Clubs 3 of 15 available
“If you’ll believe in me, I’ll believe in you. Is that a bargain?”
Corsets and laughter, trinkets and armor, claws and feathers, fantastical distractions. All that shimmers isn’t gold. Shine enough to portal a place and time. The flower that blooms by blankets of snow. Mushroom circles with ecstatic dances, rabbit holes which all entrances. A fairy’s tale hidden in fable and folklore to land without invitation at the back door.

(Only for inspo; think fantasy, fairy, medieval… feel free to get outlandish.)
